The Liverpool vs Manchester United English Premier League rivalry, which is arguably the fiercest in England, will resume once again when the two teams meet at Anfield in Liverpool on Sunday, January 17. The two sides are wallowing in mediocrity this season, but usually save their best for each other and that should be the case on Sunday. Both clubs haven’t lived up to their potential as of yet this season and it appears realistically that the league title will be out of their reach. On the bright side though, one or both of the teams could land a top-four spot and a berth in the 2016/17 European Champions League.
